Third Grade Supply List  – September 2019

Dear Families,
Here is a list of supplies your child will need for September. We hope this will help you take advantage of summer sales on back to school items. All Grade 3 students, regardless of which teacher they have, will need the following:

• 2 boxes #2 Dixon Ticonderoga pencils
• 1 pkg. each – large pink erasers/pencil top erasers
• 1 pair Fiskar scissors
• 1 pkg. red pens
• 2 pkg. Expo dry erase markers ( fine tip)
• 1 ruler (inches and centimeters)
• 2 boxes of tissues to share with class
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 black Sharpie
• 2 yellow highlighters
• 1 pkg. Post-It notes
• 2 jumbo book socks
• I pkg. Lysol wipes
• 1 package colored pencils ( optional)  
• 1 set earbuds or headphones in ziploc bag labeled with child’s full name
• 1 pkg. (8) subject dividers
• 3 pkgs. reinforced loose leaf paper with wide ruled lines (NOT college ruled)
• 3 plastic, sturdy 2-pocket folders:
  – Blue: label Writing
  – Red: label Things to Do
  – Yellow: label Music
• zippered pencil pouch with 3 rings for binder (NO pencil boxes)

Mrs. Bergin’s and Mrs. Zamonsky’s students:

• I marble composition notebook 
• 2-inch binder (nothing bigger-they do not fit in the desks; no trapper keepers, please)
• 2-inch floppy (flexible) binder

Mrs. Carnes’ students:

• 3 marble composition notebooks; NO 2-inch binder or dividers

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU COME TO SCHOOL

If there is too much for your child to carry on the first day, send what you can, and then please send the rest on the second day.

In addition to labeling supplies, please remember to label lunch boxes, backpacks, and jackets with your child’s full name.

Any correspondence and/or money sent to school should come in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and his or her teacher’s name clearly written on the outside.
