PBE students get creative making their instruments

Fourth grade musicians at PBE have been working hard on a pretty unique project from their teacher, Jean Lubera. They are each building a homemade instrument out of recycled materials.

Each student’s instrument had to make three distinct sounds. With their completed instruments, students worked in groups to develop and compose a “Homemade Instrument Symphony” that will be performed for their classmates using non-traditional notation.
