PBFD helps educate PBE students about fire safety

Learning about fire safety is so important. We are beyond grateful to the Pine Bush Fire Department for stopping by Pine Bush Elementary School this week to show our students some of the equipment they use to fight fires and save people in motor vehicle accidents.

A girl wearing a pink shirt and blue mask points into a fire truck. The firefighter looks in. He is wearing a blue uniform and hat.

Our wonderful volunteer firefighters talked to the students about what to do if a fire breaks out in their home. They took lots of questions from our very inquisitive and interested kiddos and explained everything they needed to know.

A volunteer firefighter, wearing dark blue pants and shirt and hat, talks to a group of elementary age students.

Our district thanks our firefighters for all they do every day to keep us all safe.

A firefighter wearing a light blue shirt and dark blue pants holds his hand out toward his truck and equipment. A group of elementary school kids are gathered around watching. One boy in front holds his arms up in victory after correctly answering what type of equipment it is. A group of elementary school kids stand to the right as a firefighter, dressed n a blue uniform holds a piece of equipment from his fire truck.
