PBHS, PBE Odyssey teams are heading to the world championships!

The Pine Bush High School Technical team won first place and Pine Bush Elementary’s Vehicle team won second place at the New York State Odyssey of the Mind Competition this weekend, which qualified them both to compete in the world tournament, which will be held at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa from May 21-24.

The CVMS team finished 13th  of 19 teams in their division and did an amazing job!

Seniors Maddy Carpenter and Jenna Hopmayer won scholarships  for their long-term commitment and participation in the Odyssey of the Mind program.

The teams will be holding several fundraisers to cover the costs associated with the trip to Iowa.

We congratulate all three teams that went to the states to represent Pine Bush. We wish PBHS and PBE the very best of luck as they prepare for the trip to Iowa!
