PBHS students exhibit artwork at Lower Hudson Region Media Arts Show; Natalie Rodas recognized with Presidents’ Award

Six Pine Bush High School art students exhibited their artwork in the Lower Hudson Region Media Arts Show recently.

Natalie Rodas was recognized with a Presidents’ Award, which, according to the group’s website, “is presented to 12th grade students whose entire body of work shows noteworthy content, a creative approach, attention to composition, a command of craft, is visually and technically outstanding.”

This show is an opportunity for students to exhibit and screen their media arts work and also see the work of their peers. The work included photography, digital images, graphic arts, film video, animation and creative sound.

A record 235 high school students from 16 high schools in the Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester Counties participated in this year’s show. There were 930 works of art submitted.
