Pine Bush Central School District has once again teamed up with
the United Way of Dutchess-Orange Region, with staff members donating $8,500 to its 2018-2019 campaign.
“The United Way is so beneficial to our community,” said Superintendent Tim Mains. “It makes perfect sense for us to partner with an organization that provides so many services to our students and families through the many agencies they support.”
Everyone in the district who pledged to the United Way campaign was entered into a drawing to win one of 50 prizes, including gift cards, restaurant gift certificates and United Way swag.
Those who donate to the United Way help support a wide variety of programs and services focused in the areas of education, income and health. Money raised locally is spent locally on a variety of programs, initiatives and collaborations for people in Dutchess and Orange counties.
