Pine Bush welcomed 60 new employees Monday at new staff orientation. The group consisted of teachers, counselors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, behavioral analysts and school-related professionals (SRPs).
These new Pine Bush employees met and heard from district administrators, starting off with Interim Superintendent Amy Brockner who welcomed them and thanked them for being part of Pine Bush. She talked about our powerful goal and how to achieve it.
“I want to take a moment to reflect on an embrace our theme for the year: One Team, One Mission,” She said. “As we set out on this journey together, it’s important to recognize that we are united by a single, powerful goal – to inspire, educate and nurture every student who walks through our doors.
“I am genuinely excited about what we can achieve together this year,” Ms. Brockner concluded. “Let’s embrace the spirit of One Team, One Mission, and make this a remarkable year for both our students and ourselves.”
There were several who presented, sharing information about safety and security, technology, human resources and the supports available through our instructional and technology coaches.
Then they had lunch together with their building and district administrators. The administrators introduced themselves to the group as they shared the meal together. There were fun raffles with classroom-related items up for grabs.
The newly-minted Pine Bush employees took a bus tour of the district, narrated by the incomparable John Boyle, former principal of Crispell Middle School.
An excellent start to their Pine Bush journey! Welcome to all!
