The Pine Bush Central School District welcomed 22 new staff members on Aug. 26.
The 20 teachers and two occupational therapists received training in the district’s Code of Conduct, Return to Learn plan, COID-19 procedures, APPR practices, technology updates and more. They ended the day with a district-wide bus tour, conducted by Crispell Middle School Principal John Boyle.
These new hires will be placed throughout the district at all grade levels.
“These fabulous new hires will be a great addition to our district,” said Angela Wise, executive director of Human Resources for the district. “The training they received gave them a thorough introduction to our district, its operating procedures and our goals. “
Wise thanked those in the district who helped coordinate and contributed to the day, including the central office, Pine Bush Teachers Association and Food Service Department, as well as Birnie Bus and Pine Bush Hannafords.
“We welcome all of our new staff,” said Wise. “They will be a great addition to our district.”
