Preserving water is a daily priority

EStudents hold a large globe showing water on the earthdward J. Russell Elementary School second grade students had a special visitor last month when Sarah Archbald stopped by. Archbald is also known as “the water lady” since she teaches students all about water.

Archbald is a conservation educator with the Orange County Water Authority. She provides a hands-on, interactive lesson about the importance of water. Students learn how much water covers the earth, facts about ground water and pollution, and all about the water cycle.Teacher holds a large globe up for the students to see
