Professionals share their expertise at Crispell Career Day

Crispell held its annual Career Day just before the Thanksgiving recess. Professionals in 24 different fields came in to talk to eighth-grade students about their field of expertise. Students got to choose three 25-minute sessions in which to sit.

Students learned from a pilot, veterinarian, teacher, engineer, scientist, nurse, doctor, accountant, teacher, K-9 officer, lawyer, photographer, athletic trainer and many more what the day-to-day experience is for these professions. They also asked some great questions about the education and experience necessary to work in the various fields. Some of the presenters brought hand-outs and provided hands-on experiences – like our athletic trainers!

It was a very informative morning for the eighth-grade students, put together by the awesome Crispell Counseling Department. Thank you to our community partners who took time from their day to share their experiences with the students.
