It’s a tradition in Pine Bush. The annual free dinner and musical for senior citizens throughout the Pine Bush Central School District was held on Wednesday, March 14.
Hundreds of senior citizens enjoyed a full turkey dinner with all of the trimmings, dessert and coffee. The food was supplied by the district’s food vendors, prepared by the district’s Food Services Department and served by student and district volunteers.
As always, the seniors were grateful for their dinner and complimentary to the chefs and servers.
Superintendent of Schools Tim Mains welcomed the seniors to the high school and thanked them for their support of the district throughout the years.
After dinner, seniors moved into the auditorium for the performance of The Addams Family. It was the first of four performances by this talented group of high school actors. They performed on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17, to very enthusiastic audiences.
