Some new faces at Crispell as we begin the school year

Crispell is welcoming several new teachers as we enter the 2021-2022 school year. Here’s some quick introductory information from them.

 

 

A woman with long wavy dark hair smiles broadly.Emma Caccioppoli is a sixth grade literacy teacher at Crispell Middle School. “To be an educator has always been a dream of mine. Something that I am looking forward to the most during my Pine Bush journey is to grow as a teacher. My family, students, and colleagues are who inspire me every day. I will work hard to make them proud. I will always strive for progress, not perfection. I am excited to embark on this new journey that awaits me.”

She played soccer throughout her college career and has always loved playing competitive sports. She spends her time with friends and family when possible, and has recently started graduate school for STEM education. She adopted a dog and a cat at the start of the pandemic and loves spending time with them! Traveling is a passion and she hopes to have the opportunity to travel the world one day! “I have always wanted to become a teacher and I am super excited to begin my career as a sixth grade math teacher. I am looking forward to the exciting and challenging year ahead!”

They are both smiling.Becky Mills will be teaching AIS reading at Crispell this year. “I am most looking forward to being a permanent member of the Crispell family! I taught here from March through June and instantly knew that Pine Bush was the place for me to return to my teaching career. I spent nearly six years at home with my daughter and am so excited that I get to go back to teaching full-time. I couldn’t think of a better building to do so than at Crispell!”

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nancy D’Elia is beginning her new job at Crispell Middle School as a seventh grade Spanish teacher. “As a new teacher in the Pine Bush School District, I am most looking forward to interacting with the students of Crispell Middle School and helping them learn to communicate in the beautiful Spanish language.”

 

Sarah Ferry will be the assistive technology specialist for the district, traveling to all seven schools. “I grew up in and attended Pine Bush schools, so the thing that I am most looking forward to is being a part of the district and community that gave so much to me. I feel like I’m coming home! I’m excited to learn and to grow with staff, students, and the Pine Bush community alike.”
