Students will remain indoors until air quality issues improve

Pine Bush students will continue to have recess and physical education classes indoors until the air quality improves enough that it is safe to be outside.

The district consulted with the Orange County Department of Health yesterday and determined that the air quality due to the Canadian wildfires is not safe for outdoor activity. Decisions about field trips will be made on the morning of the trip. The safety of our students and staff is our priority.

We continue to monitor the situation and will communicate any changes in the situation.
