The Pine Bush High School Summer Fine Art Academy gave students interested in art an opportunity to do more in-depth projects and use newer techniques in the nearly three-week academy.
Julie Palinkas taught the program with assistance from new graduate Georgia Camacho. Students worked with stencils, creating them, cutting them and making different works of art from them.
They also worked with the STEM Academy – the STEM students showed them how to use the 3D printer and the art students showed STEM how to ink them.
The days began at 7:30 a.m. and ended at 3 p.m.- it was art all day long! “You chose to come to summer school for enrichment. It makes us really proud of all of you,” said PBHS Principal Aaron Hopmayer.
