Good Evening,
I know that many of you are anxious to know just exactly how our students will Return to Learn next fall, and we’ve already begun preparing for that by consuming a number of reports that have been issued by other states, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and most recently, the American Academy of Pediatrics. The governor and the New York State Education Department (NYSED) are projected to release guidance later this month. But the most important people we want to hear from right now are all of you.
We’ve designed three surveys – one each for our parents, staff, and students. Here are the links to the staff and parent surveys:
If you are a teacher AND a parent in the district, please complete both versions. If you have multiple children in the district, please know that we worked to design the parent version so that you can provide us info on all of your children in one survey.
Students will be getting their survey link in an email that will be coming to their school email address (what they use to log into Google Classroom) later tonight or tomorrow.
We’re hoping to hear from most of you, so we will leave the survey links open from now through the end of the business day (4 p.m.) next Tuesday, July 7.
The parent version should take you less than 10 minutes, and the staff version is even shorter.
Your feedback is critical for us to have, as we craft our Return to Learn plans for the fall. Please take a few minutes between now and next Tuesday to share your thoughts with us. I’ll give you a tickle on Sunday as well.
I truly hope you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Independence Day this Saturday! We will be celebrating throughout the weekend.
Have a good night,
Tim O. Mains, Pine Bush Superintendent
