Taylor Pannell, a junior middle hitter on the Pine Bush varsity volleyball team,
earned first-team all-state honors.
Pannell led Pine Bush in hitting percentage and blocks on its way to the Section 9 Class AA championship and the state semifinals.
Emily Bott, a senior outside hitter, was named all-state second team.
Taylor Jones, a junior setter/defensive specialist, made all-state third team.
Pannell also received most valuable player honors for Section 9 Class AA. This award is chosen by the coaches in the section.
Bott and Jones were also named first-team Section 9 Class AA.
Shelby Eller made Section 9 second team while Anjalyna Talmadge received honorable mention. Both are seniors.
