The Class of 2022 top 30 are honored – and honor educators who made an impact on their lives

The Pine Bush High School class of 2022 top 30 graduates were honored recently by their teachers, administrators, board members and families.

Each of the students, in turn, honored that special teacher who has had the most impact on them through their high school years.

“Her door was always open to me.” “He is a role model for all teachers.” “His class was a welcoming place.” “She always believed in me.” “She cares for everyone.” “I was empowered by his advice.” “She inspired me to reach my full potential.”

These were some of the comments from the students when they named their honored teacher.

Confidence runs deep with these students. Assistant Principal Jen Evans opened the evening with a quick story. Four years ago, when they were incoming freshmen, 20 of these 30 students responded that they would be in the top 30 at graduation!
