Emily Sessano of the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region stopped by the Pine Bush district office Wednesday to drop off supplies for children in the district.
Among the donations were back-to-school necessities such as backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils, scissors, markers, glue, crayons and even t-shirts and sneakers!
“On behalf of our students, our district is so grateful for this generous donation from the United Way,” said Superintendent Tim Mains, after accepting the supplies. “We have a wonderful partnership with our local United Way and I thank them for all they do for our students and their families. I also thank all of our staff members who donate on a regular basis to the United Way. This is possible, in part, because of the benevolent staff members here at Pine Bush.”
