We are grateful for our veterans

The sixth-grade classes at Circleville Middle School took time to explore just how important Veterans Day is. In ELA classes, they discussed what a veteran is and why it is so important to honor and celebrate them, especially on Nov. 11.

After their discussion, the students created personal letters to local veterans, complete with patriotic drawings. Vincent Emanuele, an ELA/social studies teacher at Circleville, will be delivering the letters to a local VFW post today, just in time for Veterans Day!
