A big Pine Bush welcome to our new teachers here at EJR.
Bill Losier, originally from Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., has been a music/band teacher since 2001. He will be teaching fifth grade band/general music at EJR. “One of the greatest privileges of being a music teacher is getting to watch children discover something new about themselves – like learning an instrument for the first time. I am most excited to share my passion for band and to see how it impacts the students I work with.”
Jennifer Schiesser is an AIS math teacher at EJR, starting in January 2021. “I look forward to helping our students gain more confidence in their math skills.”
Corrine Vertescher is stepping into EJR as a third grade classroom teacher. “I am looking forward to the students helping me grow as an educator as much as I am looking forward to helping the students grow as learners.”
Christina Greenbaum is one of two literacy coaches for the elementary education teachers in the district. She will be located at EJR and Circleville elementary schools. “I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone in each building and becoming a part of the PBCSD team!”
Sarah Ferry will be the assistive technology specialist for the district, traveling to all seven schools. “I grew up in and attended Pine Bush schools, so the thing that I am most looking forward to is being a part of the district and community that gave so much to me. I feel like I’m coming home! I’m excited to learn and to grow with staff, students, and the Pine Bush community alike.”
