High school is about to begin for our incoming class of 2027! Last week, students, parents and guardians attended the Pine Bush High School freshman and new student orientation on Aug. 24, gathering information about their new school and getting a chance to walk the halls before the first day on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
The auditorium was filled as Superintendent Brian Dunn welcomed the new high school students and laid out expectations for the coming year. They heard from Principal Aaron Hopmayer and Assistant Principal Anna-Marissa Estep who gave an overview of how things work at the high school. They heard about electives and requirements and what is needed to graduate.
After the informational presentations, students could take tours of the building – they received their schedules as they entered the gathering – and attend the activities fair, giving them an idea of all the clubs available at Pine Bush High School. In the gym, students got an overview of the sports offerings here in Pine Bush.
There is truly something for everyone at PBHS!
Four years go by quickly! Enjoy every minute. School starts on Tuesday, Sept. 5. See you all then!
